Setting Up a New E-Mail Account

Outlook 2002 and 2003

1. Open Outlook.
2. From the Tools menu, select E-mail Accounts.
3. Select Add a new e-mail account, then select Next.
4. Select POP3, then select Next.
5. Fill in your Internet e-mail settings:
• In the Your Name field, type your full name.
• In the E-mail Address field, type your e-mail address.
• In the Incoming mail (POP3) field, type mail.accentix.net.
• In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field, type mail.accentix.net.
• In the User name field, type your full E-Mail address.
• In the Password field, type your password.
6. Click on More Settings.
7. Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
8. Click on the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
9. Click on the Advanced tab.
10. Under Server Port Numbers, Next to Outgoing server (SMTP), replace the current entry (usually 25) with 587.
11. Click OK to close the dialog box.
12. Click Next.
13. Choose Finish to close the window.
