Sending E-Mail Using Port 587

Outlook Express

1. Start Outlook Express.
2. From the Tools menu, select Accounts.
3. Select the Mail tab
4. Double click the E-Mail account (most likely called mail.accentix.net)
5. Click on the Servers tab.
6. Click on the box next to My server requires authentication.
7. Click Apply.
8. Click on the Advanced tab.
9. Under Server Port Numbers, Next to Outgoing Mail (SMTP), replace the current entry (usually 25) with 587.
10. Click OK.
11. Click Close.
